Inspect an image

Read embedded C2PA Content Credentials in a PNG or JPEG. The image stays in your browser. Each result applies to the file you select.

Signed claims

C2PA records contain signed claims about a file. This inspector reports record presence, content binding, cryptographic signature and signer trust separately. A valid signature leaves the truth of each claim for you to assess.

Signer trust uses a pinned snapshot of the official C2PA signer list. Timestamp trust, online certificate status and remote manifests are unavailable. These checks do not detect pixel watermarks or Claude's text watermark, or establish who wrote text.

Read the trust policy or download the licence notices. The C2PA walkthrough provides signed, changed and stripped images to try.

Your file

Choose a PNG or JPEG of up to 20 MiB. An inspection stops after 20 seconds. The first inspection loads WebAssembly from this domain. The selected image and its contents stay in the browser.

This inspector needs JavaScript, WebAssembly and browser workers. Enable them to inspect a local image. The trust policy, licence notices and walkthrough are available above.
